OUR PRODUCTS
Our Home Grown Revolution beds have been developed to make growing your own vegetables as easy and pleasurable as possible. We know from experience how difficult it can be to keep on top of everything, especially in the spring and summer months when your garden seems to need the most attention, and how frustrating it is to see your vegetables smothered by weeds or eaten by birds and other pests. We also know how great it feels to harvest crops from a good looking, easy to maintain vegetable bed.
THE SPECIALISTS IN RAISED VEGETABLE BEDS
Our installed beds are very sturdy and can withstand pretty much anything. They are built from reclaimed, untreated hardwood sleepers, and are fixed together with stainless steel or copper brackets for extra strength. Once in place there is no chance of them moving.
The dimensions of all our beds ensures that the whole of the growing area can be easily reached from the sides without the need to tread on the soil or the plants, thereby helping to maintain an optimum growing environment.
We build these beds with a gravel or bark path surround, edged in oak. This not only looks clean, but by using a weed suppressing membrane under the path, helps in the fight against weeds. It also means a far less muddy environment during rainy times.
Our drip pipe irrigation is cleverly integrated into the beds. If you have a water source nearby (mains or butt) then it can be connected to a timer for easy weekend and holiday watering.
Our standard frames slot into ready fitted cover plates for easy use (stainless steel or copper). Made of strong but lightweight aluminium, they come apart for easy storage.
Our range of covers are made to measure, finished to a high standard and attach very neatly to the base of the beds with bungees. We currently have heavy and fine netting, plain and vented polycovers, and enviromesh. Using covers such as these is all but essential if you wish to garden without the use of pesticides.
KIT BEDS
INSTALLED BEDS AND IRRIGATION
For those of you who are keen to have a raised bed but who are looking for a cheaper option, we have developed a range of kit beds, giving you everything you need to get started in one simple to put together package. The only things you need to provide are the manpower and a 10mm spanner or socket wrench. Each kit bed comes complete with a set of sturdy frames and our irrigation system. The timbers are pre-drilled and fitted with cover plates ready for the frames, making it a really cost-effective way of having a distinctive HGR bed.

ALLOTMENT BEDS
Our allotment beds offer most of the advantages of our kit beds, but have been designed to be more suitable for the less secure environment of public allotments or open gardens. While still strong, the frames are of a lighter construction and less valuable, and so less vulnerable to opportunistic crime. They are made from non-rusting square-section aluminium with plastic connectors.
The simplified design makes assembly very straightforward and the beds represent excellent value for money without compromising on functionality.
They can be provided with a full range of covers and irrigation system.
